Messi returns with ‘German haircut'

Lionel Messi returned to Barcelona training after his post-World Cup holiday sporting a new ‘German hairstyle’.
Messi led Argentina to the final last month in Brazil but was unable to triumph over Germany at the final hurdle.
He has re-joined his Barca team-mates at their pre-season training camp under new boss, Luis Enrique after spending the holiday with girlfriend Antonella Roccuzzo and his son Thiago.
Getting a new hairstyle wouldn’t be a problem if it was just an ordinary haircut. We do not know what his teammates think, but that has not stopped the flurry of reactions.
Some of the early reactions came from the media with Teddy Cutler of the Daily Independent suggesting this was perhaps his way of dealing with the disappointments of Brazil 2014:
“Chopping off one’s locks is a time-honoured way of responding to heartbreak — plus short hair is all the rage at the moment among the Hollywood glitterati,” Cutler wrote.
Ben Burrows of the Daily Mirror wrote: “He may be one of the best players to ever grace the planet but this won’t go down as one of Lionel Messi’s finest moments.”
One thing is for sure, this haircut is going to attract a lot of attention, maybe as much as Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo who are more at home with changing hairstyles.
