Reports have it that a bomb blast has occurred at the New Road Motor Park, Sabon-Gari area of Kano city. The explosives were hidden in a table-top fridge disguised as luggage. Details of causality still sketchy as at the time of this report.
The blast has been confirmed by the Nigerian Police via its official twitter account.
